Executive & Leadership Coaching in Monroe, Louisiana

Most leadership development trains the skills and ignores the person. Banner's executive coaching works from the inside out — purpose, character, and calling, examined with the same rigor you'd bring to any strategic priority.

This is coaching for leaders, Christian and otherwise, who suspect there's more beneath the results and are ready to do the harder work of becoming who their influence requires. Every engagement begins with a conversation with our Care Coordinator.

Christian executive coaching at Banner Institute in Monroe, Louisiana

For leaders who suspect there's more

Most leadership development trains skills and stops there — communication, delegation, decision-making — while the person doing the leading goes unexamined. Banner takes a different approach: the interior life of the leader isn't a soft add-on. It's the foundation everything else stands on.

This is coaching for leaders, Christian and otherwise — executives, business owners, managers, and professionals who are effective by every visible measure and still sense the gap between what they've built and who they're becoming. You don't need a crisis to belong here. You need the willingness to examine your character, your calling, and your influence as directly as you examine your numbers.

Executive Coaching

Executive coaching at Banner is a structured, 6–12 month engagement built around four things: purpose and vocation, organizational culture, leadership character, and career transition. It isn't performance coaching with a spiritual veneer — it treats who you are becoming as the real driver of what you build and lead.

What the work looks like

Engagements are ongoing and paced to the work, not a fixed curriculum. Early sessions clarify purpose and vocation — what you're actually building toward, and why. From there, the work moves into the character and habits your influence requires, the culture you're shaping around you, and , when it's the season for it, a transition: a new role, a new venture, a new chapter of leadership.

It's for leaders who are already competent and still know something is missing, and who are ready to bring the same discipline to their interior life that they bring to their work.

Sessions are available in person or virtually. Not sure if this is the right starting point? A conversation with our Care Coordinator will help you find it.

Start with clarity, not guesswork

Some leaders know exactly what they want to work on. Others just know something's off. If you're in the second group, a validated assessment is often the fastest way to a real starting point.

The Birkman Assessment

Frequently asked questions

What is executive coaching, and how is it different from leadership training?

Leadership training builds skills — communication, delegation, decision-making. Executive coaching at Banner starts a level deeper: purpose, character, and calling, worked through in an ongoing relationship rather than a workshop. The two aren't opposed, but we focus on who you're becoming, on the premise that it drives everything else you build and lead.

Do I have to be a Christian to work with a Banner coach?

No. Executive coaching at Banner serves leaders of any background. We're forthright about our foundation — every coach works from Christian conviction — and we've found that honesty serves clients of every persuasion better than vagueness does.

How does the Birkman Assessment relate to executive coaching?

They're related but separate. The Birkman is a standalone assessment and debrief — a defined, low-barrier engagement on its own. Many people continue from there into ongoing executive coaching, but there's no obligation either way; it works as a complete starting point by itself.

Is this the same as counseling or therapy?

No. Executive coaching is professional development work, not clinical treatment. If you're navigating a mental health crisis, an addiction, or a marriage in real trouble, our licensed counseling team is the right place to start — we'll tell you that plainly and point you there.

Is executive coaching available virtually?

Yes. One-on-one executive coaching happens in person in Monroe or virtually, whichever fits your schedule and location. Team assessments, culture workshops, and organizational consulting are delivered on-site for Monroe-area businesses and nonprofits.

How much does executive coaching cost?

Rates vary by engagement — a standalone Birkman assessment, a multi-month coaching relationship, and organizational consulting are priced differently. We discuss cost openly when you schedule a conversation with our Care Coordinator rather than posting a single number that won't fit most situations.

One conversation. A clear next step.
